Chris has extensive expertise working with high-end integrated accounting systems and database programs. Her background as a Certified Public Accountant and an IT specialist benefits clients. She knows about the accounting and financial reporting needs of businesses, and this allows her to efficiently deliver a complete software solution to clients. A partner in the firm, Chris specializes in implementing, training users on and supporting Microsoft Dynamics GP, Sage 100 (formerly MAS90 and MAS200), ComputerEase and Sage Timberline Office. She is a Sage 100 Application Consultant (financials / distribution), Technical Consultant, Sage Timberline Office Implementation Specialist for Construction Accounting, and has a certification in Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate v14.1 and Sage Timberline Office MyAssistant.
Chris concentrates her efforts on configuring software so it truly benefits a client’s operations. She knows that installing a new system is only one step of the implementation process. Chris takes a full circle approach to software implementation; she first takes infrastructure and process mapping into account, then builds a well-thought-out solution, installs the system and provides customized training for the client. Chris remains in touch with her clients long after a system is implemented. She and her team of software specialists offer ongoing support to clients to make sure systems work effectively long after being installed.
She is a Certified Public Accountant and a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist. Chris actively participates in Maryland Construction Network events, a trade association for construction professionals. She co-authored an article called, "Contractors, how is your accounting software working for you?," in Construction & Accounting Taxation, a national construction industry publication. Chris also wrote an article, "What to look for in a software vendor," in the Maryland Association of CPAs' Statement. She presented "Technology and IT issues subs face" at the American Subcontractors Association of Baltimore. She was named one of Baltimore’s “SmartCPAs” by SmartCEO magazine in 2011.
